1Getting started
What is Lamsa?
An app for Salla merchants that gives you full control of your store's header and footer from one settings page: hide elements, an announcement bar with a countdown, a smart WhatsApp button and a glass header — no code.
Do I need a developer or technical skills?
No. Every option is a toggle or a dropdown. Turn on what you want and click Save.
How do I install it?
Open Lamsa's page in the Salla App Store, click Install and approve the permission. The settings page opens right away.
Where do I find the settings later?
In your Salla dashboard: My Apps → Lamsa.
2Compatibility and performance
Does it work with my theme?
Lamsa is built to detect header and footer elements in Salla themes automatically. If an element in your theme isn't affected, email us and we'll add support.
Will it slow my store down?
No. The app is a small file loaded once, with no external libraries.
When do changes appear after saving?
Within minutes. If not, refresh the page or open the store in a private window to bypass the browser's cached copy.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes, on mobile and desktop. You can apply hiding options on all devices, mobile only or desktop only.
3Header and footer
What is the difference between sticky, glass and smart headers?
Sticky stays visible at the top while scrolling. Glass adds an elegant frosted translucency on scroll. Smart hides on scroll down and returns on scroll up for more room.
Can I hide just one payment method?
Yes. Pick the methods to hide from the list (for example cash on delivery) and the rest stay visible.
Can I hide trust badges?
You can show, shrink or hide them. Keep in mind that displaying certain registration details may be legally required for some businesses; the decision is yours.
Can I change the copyright line?
Yes, you can hide it or replace it with your own text.
4Announcement bar and WhatsApp
How do I show more than one message?
Write the messages separated by the | character and they rotate automatically (up to 5).
How does the countdown work?
Set the end time in Saudi time and turn on the countdown. The bar disappears automatically when the offer ends.
What format should the WhatsApp number be in?
Any: 05… or 9665… and the app normalizes it. Leave the field empty to hide the button.
What happens outside working hours?
The WhatsApp button hides automatically outside the hours you set and returns when they start.
5Subscription and privacy
Is there a free trial?
Yes, 7 days free. After that you choose the monthly or yearly plan from the app's page in the Salla App Store.
What happens when I uninstall?
Your store returns to its original look immediately — the app does not modify the theme files themselves.
Does the app access my orders or customer data?
No. The only permission requested is reading basic store information. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
How do I contact support?
